To ensure the color accuracy of color-enhanced printing for critical healthcare applications, Epson has developed the Epson Automatic Nozzle Checking technology for its SecurColor printer. The technology counts the electrical charge from each ink drop to determine if a print nozzle is clogged. If two or more nozzles are clogged, the printer will automatically start a cleaning cycle and in a few seconds the printer is ready to print again.
